Team Brady Shortlisted for Environmental Sustainability Award at the 25th Sport Industry Awards

London, UK, Thursday 30 April: Team Brady has been named among the shortlisted nominees for the Environmental Sustainability Award at the prestigious Sport Industry Awards, marking a major milestone for the team’s sustainability efforts.

 

Widely regarded as the biggest night in the sports businesscalendar, the awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the industry.With more than 1,500 senior executives in attendance, the ceremony recognisesthe most impactful and forward-thinking initiatives shaping the future ofsport.

 

This year, Team Brady finds itself in great company, shortlisted alongside major organisations including The Football Association, LondonStadium, The Boat Race, Utilita Energy and Loughborough University.

 

At the heart of Team Brady’s nomination is its “Race for Change”platform, an initiative designed to unite partners, fans and stakeholders inadvancing sustainable solutions while protecting marine ecosystems.

 

Central to the programme is a first-of-its-kind partnership with4ocean Foundation, which directly links sporting performance to environmental impact. For every point scored by Team Brady, 4ocean removed 100 kilograms of plastic from the ocean, rivers and coastlines. In 2025 alone, this resulted in an impressive 19,500 kilograms of waste removed, with the team already committing to double that impact in 2026.

 

Beyond ocean cleanup, Team Brady has embedded sustainability across its operations. The team also uses OceanR recycled teamwear, near-100%recycled racewear, and partnered with WaterAid to highlight global water inequality. The team delivered high-impact activations including a Miami beach cleanup and a Leaders’ Summit featuring Tom Brady.

 

These combined efforts have already earned the team recognition as the first-ever Blue Impact Champions in the E1 Series.
